We chose nbkc bank based on their rates, and then we were really hooked when we worked with Chad, our mortgage rep. Our loan was complicated (VA Loan) and had several issues with the selling home owner/agent Chad responded to our inquiries via email and phone in a prompt manner. While on vacation, he was reachable for a true crisis when the home buying process seemed ready to fall apart. After being denied a VA IRRL from another bank due to old collections, I decided to try nbkc bank. I went to their website to send an email to ask before applying, and when the live chat box showed up, I decided to chat with Chad Lippelgoos. He answered all of my questions and since I had all the info from the credit report he was able to get me a response from the underwriting department without them running a credit check first. So, we went from there and started the process. Chad ALWAYS replied to my emails within a few hours, unless it was over the weekend. As I really don't like talking to people on the phone, I was shockingly surprised that we are able to get the entire process, short of scheduling the closing done via email. Start to finish, process was 4 weeks, reduced my mortgage payment $140/month, no out of pocket costs, in fact we will be getting money BACK! Overall wonderful experience and if rates drop again, or when we buy another house, I will be sure to contact Chad.

If anybody is looking for a mortgage loan to purchase a home, this lender nbkc bank, should be the lender they need to contact first. My husband and I had a great experience working with the bank's lending officer, Chad. He responded quickly when we requested a pre-approval to start our home search. He was always available to answer our questions even when he was out on vacation. The lender's loan application online was so easy to fill out. Documents required for the loan were also submitted online by uploading to the secure website. Everything went smooth with our home purchase.
