What’s your advice for new home buyers?
Purchasing your first home is exciting, but it can feel overwhelming at times. You should have an open relationship with your loan officer and real estate agent, where you feel comfortable asking questions. No question is too small. Get pre-approved before you begin shopping, so you know what you can afford. My goal is to make the process as smooth as possible.

I can’t pick one favorite. I’m a huge Jayhawks, Chiefs, and Royals fan!

Playing a round of golf at the Old Course in St Andrews.
What aspect of your job are you most passionate about?
For me, it’s about building trusting relationships with my clients. I’m not just here to get someone approved for a loan. I’m guiding them through an important milestone in their life. I want my clients to feel like I’m a partner in that process.

What are some of your hobbies?
I’m an avid golfer and huge music nerd.
Before working at nbkc, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve ever had?
When I was younger, I was a server at a popular restaurant. I loved the constant action and the chance to connect with so many different people in one night. The pace taught me how to stay organized, and the conversations with customers showed me how much I enjoy helping people have a great experience.
