Home buying is such an exciting milestone in your life. Make sure you look beyond a lender's interest rate. You will want to compare closing costs, points and lender fees too. Not all lenders are created equal!

I love camping outside in nature! Zipped up in my tent away from the bugs.

What aspect of your job are you most passionate about?
I am passionate about my commitment to transparency. So many lenders go around questions to get you hooked. I prefer to be direct to make sure this is a good fit for my client as well as the bank.
Where did you grow up?
A suburb of Kansas City in a smaller town called Blue Springs.
What are some of your hobbies?
Golfing, UTV'ing, kayaking, pickleball, camping, cooking...the list goes on and on. :)
Before working at nbkc, what was the most unusual or interesting job you've ever had?
Not unusual, but I found out quickly that a bowling alley birthday hostess was not for me when I spilled an entire pitcher of strawberry soda on the 5 year-old birthday girl. The girl cried and they had to take her home. Needless to say, I did not receive a tip.
